This is worth another update 6 hours later.
The wiring in the wings is still underway. Now that I’m certain everything is functioning as it should, it’s time to solder everything in place and situate the wires so they’re properly hidden from view like everything else. I managed to set it up so that the wings have their own switches making it so I can turn them off while leaving the green LEDs on. This was done but running the red and black wires to the switch on the wing spine, then running those wires down through the wing frame to the main battery compartment on the back. Of course this means the green LEDs will always be on if the wings are but frankly this was a much easier way of going about it than trying to find/create battery space on the wings themselves for each wing. Function first for me.
On to the rifles. They’ll be quick and easy once I get going on them.
